I was having some back issues. I had never had back problems previously but do have rheumatoid arthritis. My husband talked me into going to a PT that he had seen after many doctors told him he'd have to have surgery on his neck and she brought him back to 100%-no surgery! She is a runner so that was HUGE! I'm back running pain free with the exercises and stretches she showed me! 👍🏃‍♀️💪

I’ve seen a PT several times over the years for plantar fasciitis & Achilles tendinitis. Mine has a zero gravity treadmill which is amazing- I was able to run while slightly injured, something that was impossible on a standard TM.

Couldn't agree more with this topic. As an older (57) life long runner, I was dreading go to the doc for my recurring knee pain. Happily, he referred me not to a surgeon, but a PT, and after being educated on how to relieve the knee pain by strengthening my upper leg muscles (with exercises I can easily do at home), I am back to running with out pain again.

Oh my goodness, yes! I can’t say enough about how great a good Physical Therapist is for runners. I had frequent injuries until I found a great PT, who pegged right away that I kept throwing myself out of alignment. Realignment followed by simple exercises and routine check ups have made all the difference. Great information!

I am in PT now for a repeated stress fracture on my right leg. Turns out, it's because of how I was shifting my weight after a LEFT knee dislocation. It's been fascinating to learn how everything in the body is connected; what I do with my left fingers can have an impact on my left toes!

Of course, it has been immensely frustrating being sidelined for a few months, and I am now cursing myself mid-run as I have to stop and correct myself, but I hope, over time, I will form lasting habits for the long run (pun intended!)
